“This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.” Psalm 34:6
Jim Brady wrote a beautiful song, the chorus goes like this:
Every cry is heard by the Father, not one tear from your eye goes unseen. He lovingly cares for His children; Let His love be the strength that you need.:
As we look at the life of David, we realize how many times he cried out to god for help. He had perfect confidence that the Lord would hear his cry and deliver him. His writing in the Psalms reveals how much he trusted the Lord. He made many mistakes and failures and yet god called him a man after His own hart.
We come to the Lord with our trials, our struggles, our doubts, and our questions. Because the blood of Christ has cleansed us, we can come boldly to the throne, trusting the Lord to hear our cry and meet our needs. He loves us and we can rest securely in His love, knowing every cry will be heard.
Prayer: Father, we thank you that your ear is ever open to hear our cry, and that you love and care for us.
