A Miraculous Season

“Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.”  (Matthew 1:23 in the King James Version of the Holy Bible)

This season began with a miraculous happening.  A virgin conceived a child.  It had never happened before and will never happen again.  A miracle occurred.

On December 1st, two-year-old, Ellery Elms, was sent to the Charlotte, North Carolina Children’s Hospital.  The alarm was sounded and God’s people began to pray on her behalf.

The doctors felt the tumor was definitely cancer in her little jaw.  They prepared her parents for the worst case scenario with chemo, radiation and multiple surgeries to follow.  I am thrilled at what God did on her behalf.  She is on her way home this afternoon!

You can believe what you want to, but I am convinced that the God I serve stepped in and healed this sweet darling.  Miracles are still happening.  If God is with you, they are not a thing of the past!

My day started with a miracle.  God woke me up with renewed strength.  What a wonderful Savior He is!  I am looking for the miraculous to occur in my own life because God is with me.

Prayer:  Lord, I choose to believe Your Word.  Thank You for being with us through life.  We can always count on You because You keep Your Word!
