My Time

Time. Where does it go? The biological clock ticks off the minutes until they turn to years. Baby’s first steps are left behind as a child grows through the years to an adult. Pictures of graduations from kindergarten to college fade into the background as events progress through decades. Retirement arrives and with it a recognition that time is fleeting. The wise man summed it all up with ten words.

A time to be born, and a time to die (Ecclesiastes 3:2, Holy Bible, King James Version).

Life is sandwiched between these two events. The time is filled with individual activities. Eternity depends on your choices.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for time to make the right choices for my eternal destiny. Amen.
