Apostolic Prayer

The first church was born in a prayer meeting in Acts Chapter 1, and as they continued in prayer, miracles, signs and wonders were a regular occurance.   Prayer activates the supernatural power of God! It causes believers to become bold witnesses.  Every great work of God has found its roots in the fertile ground of prayer.

Acts 4:31 states, “And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.”

As modern-day disciples, God is calling us to do likewise. Prayer ALWAYS precedes power!

Prayer:  Lord, create in me a fresh passion for prayer the way the early church experienced it.  Because I want to see you demonstrate the supernatural, I will humble myself, seek your face, and turn from every wicked way.  Hear us from Heaven, touch our generation, O God!
