Washed in your Blood

Cross1If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9, NIV)

This morning I spent some time listening to “Clean” by Natalie Grant.  If you haven’t had a chance to hear it, do yourself a favor and give it a listen.  None of us have strayed too far.  We serve a God who is so merciful and full of grade that He would cleanse us of our sins no matter how far we have gone.  He washes us in his blood and makes us new creatures.  He doesn’t see our mistakes, instead he sees who we can be.  I am so thankful for a God like that!

Prayer: We don’t deserve it and yet you cleanse us over and over again.  It’s so hard to comprehend the love that you have for your children.  Today I am feeling grateful and overwhelmed by you!
