Choose Wisely

personDon’t be fooled by those who say such things, for “bad company corrupts good character.” (1 Corinthians 15:33, NLT)

Surrounding yourself with people who will help you develop good character is key to living a godly life.  If you spend the majority of your time with people who hinder your walk with God it is probably time you rethink your friendships. If your goal is to live more godly you need to find people who have the same goal as you and work together to better yourselves.  If none of your friends have any desire to draw nearer to him and spend their time concerned about carnal things you probably should reconsider letting them speak into your life. If your happen to be the negative person that I am talking about, today is a great day for you to turn it around.

Prayer: Help us to lose the negativity in our lives.  Help us to better ourselves by continuously seeking your acceptance before the acceptance of our peers.  In Jesus name, amen.
