“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:” (Ecclesiastes 3:1 in the King James Version of the Holy Bible).
Time has taken on a new meaning for us in the past two weeks. A wonderful man in our church fell on the back steps to his house while going out to the clothesline. The fall left him without the use of his hands and legs. He was the primary caregiver to his dear wife who suffers from Alzheimer’s. How quickly both of their lives have changed!
God has given to mankind that portion of duration called TIME; the space in which all the operations of nature works off of. Our birth time and death time are in His hands. All the other ways we handle time are our choice. Handle the time God has given to you carefully.
Prayer: Today, Lord, I want to personally thank You for the time on this earth You have given me. Help me to be a good steward of my time allotment. Today is a gift from Heaven! Let me cherish the present and be aware of Your many blessings! Amen!
