Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go. (Joshua 1:9, Holy Bible, New King James).
It’s been said that everyone has a reservoir of hidden courage that surfaces during desperate situations. I’ve read of ordinary people who performed heroic feats in emergencies. I’ve wondered what pushed them to abandon their fear. Many have said they whispered a prayer for strength to help others.
Prayer is the key that unlocks courage.
Prayer: Lord, give me the strength to be courageous in time of trouble. Amen.
