Soaring High

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. (Isaiah 40:31, King James Version of the Holy Bible)

This continues to be one of my favorite Scriptures, giving me a lifetime of hope. When I’m tired, I look forward to renewed strength. When I’m discouraged, I know I shall run someday. When my wings have been clipped by illness or exhaustion, I know I will soar high again. Until then, I will walk with purpose.

Prayer: Thank You Lord for this great promise that You will be my strength in the future as You have been in days past. Amen.
