Psalm 8:3-4 “When I consider the heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?”
How amazing it is to think that Almighty God, the creator of the universe, the One who spoke the world into existence, the One who created the sun, moon, and stars, and all the other wonderful things we enjoy in this world, loves us.
Throughout time, mankind has disobeyed His laws, and wandered far from Him. And yet He loved us so much that He was willing to take upon Himself the form of man, to carry our sins to Calvary, and die in our place. How great a love He showed for us! There is nothing we can do to repay His love. I am so thankful that His grace is extended to each one of us.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, we are thankful for your great love and for your mercy and grace. We are not worthy of it, but we desire to love you in return and to show your love to others.
