His Plans

Feb. 2016 Anne 4Psalm 139:14-16 –  “I will praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are your works, and that my soul knows very well.  My frame was not hidden from you, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the lowest part of the earth.  Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.  And in your book they all are written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them.”

Have you ever stopped to think about how amazing God’s plan for our life is?  Just to think that He chose us long before we were born, and created a path for our life to follow.   Consider how He has been there, leading and guiding us each step of the way to bring His plan to fulfillment.

There are times when we get sidetracked, but His gentle voice reminds us who we are, and how much He loves us, and He steers us back to the right path.  He speaks to us through His Word, as we read it and listen to it preached.  He loved us enough to give His life for us on Calvary, and He is able to keep us and shape us into the person He planned from the beginning.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, thank you for making me the person I am, and for your guidance and direction every day of my life.  Help me to reach my full potential in you.

I love the devotions, only wish they were King James version. I love reading the scriptures as they were originally given to us.

I most always use the King James Version, but this time I used the NKJV. It doesn’t change much, just uses more modern words. Thank you for your comment. Sometimes another version makes the meaning a bit more clear.
