“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:” (Philippians 1:6 in the King James Version of the Holy Bible).
When writing to the church in Philippi, the Apostle Paul was like a coach giving his team the confidence that they were winners.
When God starts doing a good work in your life, be confident that He will be with you to the finish line. He will not leave you stranded but stands close by.
Paul used strong language to let us know how convinced he was about his God. He was persuaded that God would carry on the work he had begun to completion. There would be nothing lacking on God’s part to support them.
Prayer: I am confident that You will be with me as I work for You, Lord. You will never leave me nor forsake me. You will go with me all the way to the end!
