Those who trust their own insight are foolish, but anyone who walks in wisdom is safe. (Proverbs 28:26, Holy Bible, New Living Translation)
April 1 is known as April Fools’ Day or All Fools’ Day. Tradition says this unique celebration began with those who refused to acknowledge the Gregorian calendar that shifted the New Year celebration from the end of March to the beginning of January. The wise man in Proverbs spoke of the foolish long before it became a day dedicated to pranksters. He left us with great advice.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for sound advice to be wise and trust in You. Amen.
