“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:2
There are two ways that we could read this verse. First of all, the will of God is good, acceptable and perfect… all of that at the same time.
Or, we could consider that there may be levels of God’s will, depending on how much we have surrendered to Him. Following the plan of salvation and living a godly life could be acceptable. Going beyond that and helping our neighbors and being involved in church is a good thing.
But what if there is a perfect individual will of God for your life? Have you asked Him to reveal to You the exact thing He created you for, the personal ministry He has planned for you? There is nothing more fulfilling than knowing that you are living in the perfect will of God for your life. You will never feel more alive and vibrant.
Prayer: Lord, lead me into Your perfect will for my life. Show me specifically what You have called me to do.
