“…many of the Jews and religious proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas: who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.” Acts 13:43
The Bible teaches us to continue in love, faith, the Word, prayer, doctrine, holiness… and grace. Some synonyms for grace are: favor, kindness, forgiveness, charity and mercifulness. These are all beautiful attitudes and actions that need to be part of our lives.
In 2 Peter 3:18, we are instructed to grow in grace. Our walk with God is a continual process of learning, maturing, stretching and growing. The closer we get to Him, the more we will be like Him.
Is there someone in your life that to whom you need to extend grace today? Why not make it a point to get in touch with that person, and let God’s grace flow through you to them? Let’s continue in grace.
Prayer: Lord, I don’t deserve the grace You have given me, but I am so grateful for it. Help me to show Your grace to others today. And help me to continue in grace.
