Challenge Us

Abraham fell flat on his face. And then he laughed, thinking, “Can a hundred-year-old man father a son? And can Sarah, at ninety years, have a baby?” (Genesis 17:17, The Message)

How often does God ask you to do something that you simply cannot comprehend? I know there have been times in my own life where God has prompted me to do things that I thought were so strange. What I have come to realize is that though God has a sense of humour, he makes no mistakes.  He may catch us off guard sometimes, but he always has a purpose and would not ask something of me that I wasn’t capable to do.

Prayer: Lord, let us be ready for whatever it is that you want us to do. Challenge us to come out of our comfort zones to do something great for your kingdom. In Jesus name, amen.
