What Time Is It?

To a business person, time could be the difference between catching a flight or missing an appointment. To a child waiting for a birthday party to begin, minutes seem like hours. To family and friends of a terminally ill loved one, time is a single heartbeat, one moment before the last breath. The only moment in time that means the same to everyone is the opportunity to accept God. It is given to all equally.

Behold, now is the accepted time; behold now is the day of salvation. (2 Corinthians 6:2 Holy Bible, New King James Version)

Prayer: Eternal God, I will take time to prepare my soul for eternity knowing that it could be only a heartbeat away. Amen
