Now Means the Present

“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.” (Ephesians 3:20 in the King James Version of the Holy Bible)

The word “Now” jumped out to me as I read this passage. The apostle brings an energetic prayer to a close by giving praise to a God who is worthy of all of our praise.

The word “now” means the present.

Whatever you’re going through “Now” He is able to do over and above what you may ask or even think! How exciting is that? Your wildest dreams can come true “Now.” God can do it “Now!”

All that He can do will be done according to the power that works in you. Is His power working in you?

Prayer: Rid me Lord of any impurities in my heart. Let my affections and desires be only for You. Let Your power rule and reign in my life. In Jesus Name, Amen!
