Watch the way you talk. Let nothing foul or dirty come out of your mouth. Say only what helps, each word a gift. (Ephesians 4:29, The Message)
The passing of actor/comedian, Robin Williams, came as a shock to many this week. Few people were aware that he had mental health issues and were completely astonished to hear that he had suffered with depression for several years.
It is a reminder that we have no idea what is going on behind the acts that people put on every day. We are often quick to judge when in reality, things are not always as they seem. As Christians, we need to be uplifting to others, whether we feel to or not. How you decide to treat someone can mean everything whether or not you realize it.
Prayer: Lord, I pray that you will put somebody in my path today who needs a pick-me-up spiritually. Use me to lead them closer to You. I pray that you will give me the wisdom to help them in whatever way I can. In Jesus name, amen.
