“Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord…I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth…His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant…Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.” Matthew 25:24-26, 28
God is not pleased when people waste the talents that He gave them. As the saying goes, “Use it or lose it!”
The law of the harvest is that you reap in proportion to how much you sowed. In the same way, our talents will yield in proportion to our effort.
Have you buried any of the talents God gave you? Why did you bury them – out of fear, laziness, busyness, disobedience or selfishness? It’s time to dig up that talent, dust it off, and invest it so that it will grow and increase as God has planned.
Prayer: Lord, please reveal to me any talents that I have buried, so that I can put them into action for Your Kingdom’s sake.
